Happy end of April everyone! How is your Spring going? I am alternating between feeling confident and on top of things to forgetful, exhausted and overwhelmed. It’s been fun. If you ever hear me tell you “Hey, I’ve decided to start a _____ (Fill in the Blank)” reach out to me and suggest a meeting over coffee to chat about the number of hours in a day.
I started a book podcast because I love reading, I love to talk about books AND, if I’m being honest, I was jealous over the fun the hosts of another book podcast I listen to sounded like they having and thought – “Hey! Why can’t I do this too?!?” I do wonder how many entrepreneurs started things because of sheer envy. The book podcast is fun – so I did get that right. However, I did not consider that it’s time consuming to prepare interview questions for authors (we have an author on almost every week), read a book a week and prepare to talk about that book every week. I think when I’ve done a year of weekly episodes I’ll need to write a post about what I’ve learned.
Here is some interior Spring inspiration with colors that are really speaking to me right now. If you haven’t started changing up the your home for Spring – let me enable you to do it! A new throw blanket, new pillow covers, a new paint color in a transition space – maybe something as big as a window where there wasn’t one before! Let’s break out the pastels, greens and terracottas!

“Spring is made of solid, fourteen-karat gratitude, the reward for the long wait. Every religious tradition from the northern hemisphere honors some form of April hallelujah, for this is the season of exquisite redemption, a slam-bang return to joy after a season of cold second thoughts.”
― Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life
Wonderful breath of warm spring colorful spring. Love the Barbara Kingsolver quote!
Thank you!! 🙂
I’d be happy to just live in Anthropologie. 😀
If I could tie in Anthropologie, with a good Bookstore/Coffee shop you might never find me again…. 🙂
Oh yes, those are essentials too.
The whole scene gives such a warm feeling. Anyone who wants to enjoy spring throughout the year should definitely try this out. Great work!
Thanks!!
